The Fluke TL175 test leads are designed to be as tough as your meter, offering adjustable length test tips for use in various measurement environments. These test leads feature removable 4mm lantern tips that thread onto the lead tip, providing versatility for most measurements. The patented TwistGuard extendable tip shroud meets the highest electrical safety requirements, reducing tip exposure while maintaining the necessary versatility.

One of the key features of the TL175 is the new WearGuard lead wire wear indication. The test leads are covered by two layers of silicone insulation, with the inner contrasting color exposed when the leads are nicked, scuffed, or otherwise damaged, indicating the need for replacement.

The TL175 test leads are designed to withstand high temperatures and remain flexible in cold temperatures, thanks to their double-insulated silicone construction. The extra-heavy-duty strain relief on both the probe-end and plug-end has been tested beyond 30,000 bends without failure, ensuring long-lasting durability.

The universal input plugs on the TL175 are compatible with all instruments that accept standard 4mm shrouded banana plugs. The exposed probe tip length can be adjusted from 19mm to 4mm (0.75" to 0.16"), allowing for versatile use in different measurement environments.

The Fluke TL175 test leads are rated for CAT II 1000V, CAT III 1000V, and CAT IV 600V, with a maximum current of 10A. They are also rated for a pollution degree of 2 and can be used in environmental conditions ranging from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius (-4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) at an altitude of up to 2000m (6,562').

In addition to the TL175, the Fluke TL224 SureGrip Silicone Insulated Test Leads offer a convenient way to attach clips, hooks, and grabbers as needed. These leads are 60-inch (1.5 m) long, feature reinforced strain relief, and include banana jack terminations for a variety of test lead configurations.

The TL224 test leads are rated for CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V, and 10A, and are UL listed. The SureGrip accessories are designed to improve steadiness in slippery hands, with rubber overmolded surfaces and finger-hugging curves for a comfortable and reliable grip.

Both the TL175 and TL224 test leads are an integral part of the complete measurement system, and worn or under-rated test leads can cause inaccurate readings and pose serious safety risks. To avoid these risks, it is essential to use the correct test probe for the application. Test leads are generally replaced on average every 18 months to ensure continued accuracy and safety.
