PETZL Rollclip Pro Pulley Z

The ROLLCLIP product line offers a selection of pulley-carabiners available in both the A and Z models, featuring a variety of lock mechanisms.

The ROLLCLIP A is a pulley-carabiner with a gate opening on the pulley side, which facilitates the installation of the rope when the pulley is fixed to the anchor. It is offered with an automatic TRIACT-LOCK locking system, or without a locking system. The ROLLCLIP A may be used in conjunction with a CAPTIV positioning bar to favor the loading of the carabiner along the major axis, limiting the risk of it flipping and keeping it integrated with the device.

The ROLLCLIP Z, on the other hand, is a pulley-carabiner with a gate opening on the non-pulley side, designed to facilitate installation on anchors and devices. It is available with two locking systems: the automatic TRIACT-LOCK system or the manual SCREW-LOCK system.

The ROLLCLIP series offers several features that enhance the user experience:

• The sheave is mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency.
• The gate opening on the pulley side facilitates the installation of the rope when the pulley is fixed to the anchor.
• The CAPTIV positioning bar can be used to favor the loading of the carabiner along the major axis and limit the risk of it flipping.
• The Keylock system prevents any accidental snagging of the carabiner when putting the pulley in place.
• The H-shaped cross-section of the carabiner ensures an improved strength-to-weight ratio and protects the markings from abrasion.

The ROLLCLIP series is available in both the A and Z versions, with a choice of various locking mechanisms. The key specifications are as follows:

The ROLLCLIP A pulley can be used as a directional point on the lower attachment point of the ASCENSION handled rope clamp for short rope ascents, with the gate opening on the pulley side facilitating the installation of the rope. It can also be used in combination with the RESCUCENDER rope clamp.

The ROLLCLIP Z pulley, on the other hand, can be used as a directional point on the upper attachment point of the ASCENSION handled rope clamp for short rope ascents, with the gate opening on the non-pulley side facilitating the installation on the ASCENSION. The ROLLCLIP Z pulley can also be used for tree care, to attach the ZIGZAG descender to the attachment bridge on the SEQUOIA harness, for improved lateral mobility.
